Overview

Rastafarian culture is a huge part of Jamaica’s identity. Spend the day learning about this unique culture that has inspired the world. Rastafarian life is based on nature, unity and uplifting. We start the day with a nature walk learning about the herbs used in medicine and the importance of each one. We will reason with some Rastas to hear about the philosophy of this way of life. We will teach you some of the language that is used. After we will prepare an Ital lunch on a wood fire. Rastas eat Ital food- all natural, no salt, no meat but definitely delicious. In the afternoon we will join a drumming session to hear the beautiful music and chanting. We stop by a ganja farm to see how the famous herb is grown in Jamaica.

• Scenic drive through Jamaica’s lush countryside to reach our spot to learn about the herbal medicines & enjoy a nature walk and dip in the cool waters.
• Spend some time reasoning with the Rastas and learn about the philosophy.
• Lunch -included is a fresh cooked Ital meal (no meat, no salt) over a woodfire.
